Vince Dementri - When the regular news is not enough

It is pretty bad or funny however you look at it when the people who are supposed to report the news are the news.

Vince DeMentri,A 44-year-old anchorman, claimed in a court filing that he was fired from the NBC affiliate this summer over an affair with a colleague who got to keep her job. The woman, Lori Delgado, 26, quit last month, saying she was afraid of DeMentri. So it doesn't look like the claim holds much water since she quit herself because of him.

Delgado's lawyer wrote in a memo filed Monday that DeMentri "repeatedly hovered" outside Delgado's home, "followed her through the city, confronted her, confronted her husband and acted in a threatening manner."

The filing came after the fact that DeMentri's said that he plans to sue her and the station for libel. Maybe I should be careful typing this out myself.

Some of the accusations in the DeMentri-Delgado feud are pretty ridiculous. One such case, the two got into a dispute over who hid her hair dryer. Are you sure this guy is not gay? There is nothing wrong with that it just seems weird to fight over something like that. The station blamed the hair dryer incident on DeMentri, who was then married to a QVC hostess.
